Soundings are expressed in feet and tenths and are referred to the plane of mean low water. Includes drawings of longitudinal sections of north and south jetties and elevation sections with separate scale. Shows various islands and features around Newburyport Harbor, including Salisbury Meadows, Joppa or Newburyport Flats, Woodbridge's Island, The Basin, Plum Island and River, Old Fort and Salisbury Point, Black Rock Creek, and details of the jetties and their locations.
