Abstract
My presentation focuses on strokes and how individuals are impacted by spasticity, pain and difficulty with range of motion of the upper extremity which are common side effects of a stroke. Kinesio tape is a therapeutic tape used by occupational therapy practitioners applied to the upper extremity to lessen pain, reduce swelling and improve performance. The objective of this presentation is to find if kinesio tape improves motor function in order to participate in occupation.
