Abstract
The Holocaust Center, Boston North, commemorates Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with a program ("The Challenge of Memory: Recognizing Our Survivors") held at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Peabody, Massachusetts. As documented on video, the event included the Singing of the Star-Spangled Banner (National Anthem), Survivors' Candlelighting Ceremony, Poetry Reading of Sonia Schreiber Weitz by Sandy Weitz (Yom HaShoah Chair), Musical Selections by Gordon College Women's Choir directed by Faith Leuthe, Welcome by Dr. Robert McAndrews, Welcome by Mayor Edward Bettencourt, Recognition of the Holocaust Legacy Project and Introductory Remarks by Harriet Wacks (Ex.
