Abstract
The Holocaust Center, Boston North, commemorates Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) with a program ("The Power of Words: Judgement, Memory, and Legacy Recognizing & The Holocaust Legacy Partners") held at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Peabody, Massachusetts. The video shows: The Presentation of the American flag, The Survivors' Candlelighting Ceremony, Poetry Reading by Sonia Schreiber Weitz (dedicated to Andrew Tarsy), Welcome by Dr. Robert McAndrews, Musical Selections by Faith Leuthe and the Gordon College Women's Choir, Greetings by Mayor Michael Bonfanti, Peabody, Greetings by Liz Donnenfeld (Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of the North Shore), Presentation of Holocaust Liberator Plaque by Commander Thomas Moran, Interfaith Service (Father Chris Foustoukos; Dr. Greg Carter; Rabbi Rabbi Baruch HaLevi), Holocaust Center Service Award Presented to Andrew Tarsy by Harriet Tarnor Wacks, Keynote Presentation by Andrew Tarsy, and Singing of Hatikvah.
